Goophone I5, the Chinese clone of the iPhone 5, a threat to Apple

Do you remember the exact copy of the iPhone 5 that appeared in China some time ago? Called Goophone I5 and has traced the design shown through pictures and videos of the supposed leaked iPhone 5. Although Apple’s natural reaction would be the demand for design patent infringement, the curious thing about the story is that is the developer of I5 GooPhone which threatens Cupertino.

After Samsung was convicted to build on the design of the iPhone and the iPad to create his Samsung Galaxy appears this news. The manufacturer has also launched the Goophone I5, a replica of the iPhone 5, now Apple warns of the consequences that could lead them to present its new iPhone in China.

Sounds anecdotal, more if we see how every little detail of the smartphone with Android operating system design certainly reminds us of the different parts of the iPhone 5. The point is not idle, the company owning the I5 Goophone claims that Apple will have to pay if they decide to commercially launch the iPhone 5 in China. Without going any further argument is that it is they who have the design patent registered in the country, which would force the Californian firm hypothetically at checkout.

No doubt if I had finally legal value recording the alleged patent, would be a tremendous blow to Apple because if confirmed would mean that those responsible for the brand would not have made the necessary arrangements. Maybe back to attend the same soap a few months ago when a Chinese technology company Apple forced to deal for iPad trade name. Finally turned the multinational could not exploit the rights of the device in China and was forced to reach a financial settlement. Will it happen the same in this case, where the protagonist is a carbon copy of the iPhone 5 smartphone?
